"Wish they had more give"
I grabbed these Taos shoes quickly because I really liked the look and thought, “Perfect, I can loosen them up when my feet start swelling during the day.” But once I actually had them on, the straps just didn’t have as much adjustment as I expected.

After a few wears, I kept feeling squeezed in certain spots, which was frustrating. For what they cost, I was hoping they’d be easier to tweak for comfort. Kind of a bummer.

"I really wanted to like these…"
I really wanted to like these shoes, but they just feel way too heavy on my feet. I only went for a short walk and my legs already felt tired. By the time I got home, I couldn’t wait to take them off. I’m sure some people might like that sturdy, solid feel, but for me it was just uncomfortable. Definitely not what I was expecting

"Not really worth the price"
I don’t think it’s worth the price. I was already unsure after buying it, and then the email I got seemed to say one thing while the actual experience felt like something else, which just made it more confusing. Overall, I expected better for what I paid...

"Package showed up crushed and messy"
Umm, my order arrived with the shoe box completely crushed and kind of half open. The outside bag was ripped too, like it had been dragged around before it got to me.
The shoes were loose inside with barely any paper or protection, so one of them ended up with marks on it. The shoes themselves might be okay, but the packaging was bad.

For the price, I really expected everything to show up clean and not smashed. Umm, definitely not the best first order experience with Taos Footwear...

"Nice shoes, if your feet fit their idea of normal"
I saw a few shoes I actually really liked, so I’ll give them that. The styles are nice enough. But almost none of them came in wide sizes, and the few that did were only available in limited colors. Kind of frustrating if you don’t have narrow feet and still want options

"Pretty Solid Overall"
It’s made well overall. Nothing too fancy to explain, but it feels put together right and doesn’t seem cheap. So yeah, I’d say it does the job fine.

"Pretty good shoes, a little snug with orthotics"
I like these shoes overall. I had to take out the original inserts so my orthotics would fit, and they do fit, but they still feel kind of tight. Maybe that means they fit right, I’m not totally sure. They’re still comfy enough for me to keep wearing.

"Not safe on wet sidewalks"
The shoes looked nice when I got them, but the grip is terrible on wet sidewalks. I slipped twice in one week, and now I don’t feel safe wearing them at all. For the price, I expected much better traction, and I really think the brand needs to take responsibility for selling shoes that don’t hold up in basic wet conditions.

"Return Process Was Frustrating"
I tried to return a pair and it turned into more hassle than I expected. The replies were really slow, and the instructions they sent were confusing, like I had to keep figuring out a next step myself. I’m still waiting on my refund, which is annoying. Customer service didn’t really help much and just made the whole thing feel more frustrating than it needed to be.

"I was hoping these would be comfy…"
I was hoping these would be comfy enough to overlook the look, but I don't know... the design just feels kind of old and bulky to me. Maybe it depends on what you're wearing them with, but they weren't cute the way I expected.

"Not the easiest to slip on"
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but these take a really long time to get on my feet. They seem okay once they’re on, but putting them on is kind of a hassle...

I was disappointed with the selection. There really was not much that caught my eye, and it felt like the options were limited compared to what I was expecting.

"My feet got way too hot"
I really wanted these to work because I bought them for walking and, I don't know, I figured they'd be comfortable enough. But my feet heat up so quickly in them. Like after maybe an hour, they already feel sweaty and kind of trapped, which is not what I was expecting at all. If you need something for wearing all day, I wouldn't pick these. For the price, yeah... disappointing.

"I wanted to like these, but after about…"
I wanted to like these, but after about an hour of walking my feet were already hurting. The support felt really flat, and for the price I expected way better. Now I have to go through the extra work of returning them or finding different insoles, which is just annoying.

"Didn't Work for My Foot Pain"
I really hoped this would help with my foot pain, but i didn’t notice any improvement. It still hurts when I walk, so for me personally, it just wasn’t worth it.

"Comfortable, but didn’t last"
So... these shoes felt really good when I first got them, and I was happy with the comfort. But after just a few months, the sole started coming apart, which was really disappointing. For the price, I expected them to hold up a lot better

"Decent, but not quite enough support for me"
I bought these because I was hoping they’d have really strong arch support. They do have some support, but it’s Not as firm as I expected. They’re fine for short walks or quick errands, but after a few hours my feet still start feeling tired. I will say they Look nice, so that’s a plus. Overall, they’re just okay for me.

"Comfy, but a pain to keep clean"
The shoes are comfortable, so it’s not even about how they feel when wearing them. The annoying part is cleaning them. Dirt gets stuck in the seams, and the material doesn’t really wipe clean that easily. I tried using a damp cloth like I normally would, but they still looked kind of stained afterward. For the price, I expected them to be easier to maintain.

"My feet were not amused"
I really wanted these to be comfy, but after a short walk my feet were already hurting. So yeah, perfect if your idea of a good time is regretting your shoe choices five minutes in...

"Needed a little break-in time"
These shoes were stiff for the first few days and rubbed my heel a bit, which I’m assuming is fairly normal? After about a week, they started feeling a lot better. Definitely not perfect right out of the box, but they’re comfortable now
